Designs
I am a plant driven designer, taking many cues from nature. With that in mind, my job is to make your gardenscape reflect you, your design aesthetics along with a bit of artistic flair. Given that there are a multitude of plant choices available, designing often becomes a balance of what you love with what you're capable of growing and maintaining.
With the ever present issues like water conservation and sustainability, it is important to be mindful that Southern California is a coastal chaparral. Our summers are long, hot and dry while winters tend to be cool and wet. I stress correct plant placement over aesthetics. Remember, what we put in the ground affects us and the surrounding ecosystem, all the way to the oceans.

Onsite Work - from the designer
Im a very visual person, often times ideas don't come to me right away on paper. When given the opportunity, I will often start a design concept on paper but finish it on site by bring a palette of plants and playing around with planting schemes until it pops. Take a look at some of my onsite work below.
